What's We Will Rock You about?

Twenty years after its premier in London, the musical We Will Rock You, based on Queen's hits, is finally returning to the London Coliseum. This show premiered in the same theatre in 2002 and had an uninterrupted run of 12 years!

We Will Rock You is a dystopia where globalisation has reached its climax. There's only one government left on Earth. Everyone watches the same films, wears the same clothes, and thinks the same thoughts. It's a safe, happy world... But completely Ga Ga. Music is generated by computers and instruments are banned. The resistance is forming but it’s lacking a leader to lead the fight. Could the young Galileo be this hero?

Why should you see We Will Rock You?

We Will Rock You is a juke-box musical based on Queen's greatest hits, including Radio Ga Ga, I Want to Break Free, Somebody to Love, Killer Queen, Under Pressure, A Kind of Magic, Only the Good Die Young, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Who Wants to Live Forever, Don't Stop Me Now, Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions and Bohemian Rhapsody. The libretto is by the novelist Ben Elton (known for writing the libretto for the musical Love Never Dies).

The success of the show has led to the production being taken global: Ireland, Germany, Australia, Canada, Russia, Spain, Japan, Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand, France, etc. Almost 20 million people in 28 countries have seen a performance of We Will Rock You.

If you're a Queen fan, don't hesitate. Book your tickets before it's too late - this show only has a 12-week run!
