The legendary Wizard of Oz returns to the London!

The musical is a stage adaption of the iconic 1939 film with Judy Garland in the starring role.

When a tornado carries young Dorothy to the world of Oz, nothing is as it was before. The young girl meets the Good Witch of the North, who points out the road to Emerald City where the wizard resides. Only he can take Dorothy home. Along the way, she crosses paths with a scarecrow, a tin man and a lion. All four of them want the Wizard to make their deepest desires come true.

Why should you see The Wizard of Oz?

The Wizard of Oz was created in 2011. The show uses the songs from the film by Harold Arlen (music) and E. Y. Harburg (lyrics) as well as new songs written for the occasion by Andrew Lloyd Webber (music) and Tim Rice (lyrics). The book was co-written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jeremy Sams. This new production, initially performed in Leicester's Curve Theatre, was directed by Nikolai Foster.

The film this musical is based on is loved by both critics and the public. It won three Oscars, including best song for Somewhere Over The Rainbow, performed by Judy Garland. The film is based on the eponymous novel by L. Frank Baum, published in 1900 and one of the great classics in English literature.

Every venue has been renovated recently with evey seat giving you a good view of the stage. However, the further you are from the stage, the further you are from the magic. The seats marked by a half-coloured circle indicate less good visibility (these seats are often at the back and so you can't see the whole set). We recommend avoiding them when selecting your seats.

Ticket prices are set by venues and productions. Even though the majority of musicals are suitable for children, there is no preferential child ticket.

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless in the event of force majeure (the performance is cancelled or interrupted). If this is the case, the venue or event organiser will contact you to begin the refund process.

An advertised actor can be replaced by another actor without any prior warning. Unfortunately, this is not a valid reason for requesting a refund.
