What's Sing Street about?

The musical Sing Street is based on the hit film of the same name, released in 2016 and directed by John Carney.

Dublin, during the 80s. Conor Lawlor, a 15-year-old schoolboy, is forced to change schools. His parents, hit by the economic crisis, can no longer afford the school fees. Once at his new school, Conor falls in love with the pretty Raphina. To win her over, he forms a band with the help of his new friends and his older brother Brendan.
