What's My Son's A Queer (But What Can You Do ?) about?

Social media star Rob Madge returns to the London stage with an autobiographical show.

After being sold out at the Turbine Theatre, the Edinburgh Festival, the Garrick Theatre and then the Ambassadors Theatre, the musical My Son's A Queer (But What Can You Do?) arrives at the Apollo Theatre in London.

This joyful and chaotic show tells the ups and downs of a gay boy's childhood in the suburbs of London. My Son's A Queer (But What Can You Do?) focusses on a remarkable episode in the life of young Rob Madge: when at the age of 12, he wanted to organise a Disney parade with the complicity of his father.

And even if nothing will go as planned, Rob Madge's grandmother will have one of the best afternoons of her life. This incredible show was staged by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet, In The Heights). The music is by Pippa Cleary and Simon Nathan.
