What's Jersey Boys about?

Jersey Boys, the global hit musical, is back in London's West End! The show lifted the curtain on 14 April 2021 at the Trafalgar Theatre, London's newest theatre. Book your tickets quickly to discover the story of the legendary group, The Four Seasons.

Jersey Boys is a musical biopic written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the duo behind The Addams Family musical. The show tells the story of four completely unknown New Jersey boys before they meet and sing together. The group - Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons - found success immediately. But behind the perfect harmonies, the relationship between these men has not always been so good.

Why should you see Jersey Boys?

Created in New York in 2005, the Jersey Boys musical was so successful that it ran for 12 years on Broadway. In 2008, the show crossed the Atlantic for the first time to be performed in London for 9 years. The show was also performed in 2017 in Paris and was adapted by Clint Eastwood for the cinema in 2014.

The success of the play was not only commercial. Indeed, Jersey Boys was nominated in 8 categories at the Tony Awards in 2006 and won 4, including Best Musical. In 2009, the play was nominated in 5 categories at the Oliver Awards and won Best Musical.

The musical is packed with hits like Beggin', Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Big Girls Don't Cry, My Eyes Adored You, Let's Hang On (To What We've Got), Bye Baby, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Working My Way Back to You, Fallen Angel, Rag Doll and Who Loves You.
