What's Into the Woods about?

Into the Woods is a musical by the famous composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Created in 1986 in San Diego, California, the show interweaves multiple Grimm brother stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella... all designed to be a story for adults.

A couple of bakers have been trying to have a child for years. One day, they meet a witch who reveals that they're victims of a curse which is preventing them starting a family. They have three days to find four magic items (a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn and a slipper as pure as gold) so that she can break the spell.
