What's Frozen about?

Let it go! Disney's successful film has finally been adapted into a musical!

Frozen is a story about the unique relationship between the two princesses of Arendelle, Elsa and Anna. Since childhood, Elsa has had the power to freeze things, a power she can't control. When she inherits the throne, she loses her composure and locks her kingdom in an eternal snowstorm. Seeing the damage she's caused; Elsa decides to flee. But she didn't realise that Anna will come after her to help her master her powers and bring peace to the kingdom.

Why should you see Frozen?

The musical Frozen premiered on Broadway, at the St. James Theatre in New York, in 2018. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the production lowered their curtain in March 2020 after more than 850 performances. A tour across the United States was then launched and productions flourished all over the world: Australia, Tokyo, Hamburg and of course... London!

Frozen is based on Disney's animated film released in theatres in 2013. The film was met with tremendous public and critical success. Frozen has indeed won the Oscar, the Golden Globe and the BAFTA for best animated film. It also made the most money at the global box office in 2013.

The show was nominated in three categories (best musical, best book of a musical and best score) at the Tony Awards 2018. Its incredible special effects and sumptuous sets will instantly immerse you in the kingdom of Arendelle. The hits that featured in the score make this show an unforgettable experience.

Even the biggest fans of Frozen will be surprised by this production which has a few surprises in store for them. The film's seven songs, such as Do You Want to Build a Snowman and Let It Go!, were adapted for the stage and supplemented with twelve original songs.

If you don't want to miss the chance to see the characters from Frozen come to life on stage, book your tickets now!

The show was super entertaining. The singing was superb. The set was one of the best I’ve ever seen and the added lighting/special effects made for a stunning experience. Would highly recommend this show whatever age. We even had seats way up in the balcony but it didn’t change the experience. The show was so good!

The show really immersive experience , the co ordination between the actors was outstanding , there was no part where I could find a mistake and scene where else’s dress change is astonishing. I haven’t seen a theatre performance in years and now frozen has set another bar for musical performances .a must watch in your lifetime .

An incredible show. My 7 year old daughter was left speechless. The sets, costumes and special effects were amazing. The acoustics are also very good, and we had a great view. I'd highly recommend it even if you're just in London for a short stay. There are also matinee showings for children. I highly recommend it!

The frozen musical show was absolutely magical. We bought tickets for our daughters 7th birthday, although it was her younger brother aged 5 who was on cloud nine when we told him. From start to finish we were immersed in the fairytale with Anna and Elsa. The performances from the cast including Olaf were spectacular.

Watching frozen was one of my best experiences. My friends and I had never been to the theatres before, the actors excellent level of performance and the overall play was outstanding. I highly recommend it to friends and I am now eager to watch more and others plays in theatre. I could not take my eyes off the show once, I didn’t want to blink to make sure I saw it all. Olaf was spot on and played out flawlessly.
From the moment I entered the theatre from the gates until the play ended and left, service was perfect. Theatre was clean and the organised system contributed to a better experience for both me and friends.

This show is just AMAZING. As an adult, I was a little worried about the "childish" nature of Frozen. But this show is really for everyone. The sets are magnificent. Not a second goes by without being full of life... The actors are brilliant, not to mention the costumes, lights, effects! You really don't feel like time is passing. I 100% recommend it for both young and old.

Grand and magnificent sets, nice special effects, incredible voices to interpret the songs from the film along with other songs to tell the story. Humour and dance… Hidden musicians but interpreting a very nice score. In short, a magical show to see with the family, it felt like no time had passed.
