Synchronise your watches, because the duo of Marty McFly and Doc Brown are coming to London!
Back to the Future is the musical adaptation of the 1985 film phenomenon. Marty McFly is a typical rock teenager from the 80s. However, he finds himself transported to 1955 because of the DeLorean transformed into a time machine by his friend Dr Emmett Brown. To return to the 80s safe and sound and to ensure his survival, he will have to make sure that his parents fall in love in 1955...
When it had its world premiere in March 2020 at Manchester Opera House, the musical Back to the Future wowed audiences and critics alike. The audience described being fascinated and very impressed by what was happening on stage. Some people even said that the final scene alone justified the price of the ticket. Professional critics called the show "a must see" or "an exhilarating musical adventure".
Back to the Future is the first film in a trilogy that was a huge success in cinemas, ranking first at the American box office and fourth at the French box office in 1985. Its adaptation into a musical was therefore a guaranteed success... but the result is beyond all hope!
The musical's score is based on the film's original soundtrack, re-orchestrated by Glen Ballard (Ghost) and Alan Silvestri, the original composer. The songs have been boosted and some have been added to them. The book is by Bob Gale, screenwriter of the original trilogy. John Rando (Urinetown, On The Town) was commissioned to direct the show. The set and lighting effects are among the most impressive that London has seen in recent years.
So if your flux capacitor is already vibrating, don't wait and book your seats now to see the Back to the Future musical in London.

Every venue has been renovated recently with evey seat giving you a good view of the stage. However, the further you are from the stage, the further you are from the magic. The seats marked by a half-coloured circle indicate less good visibility (these seats are often at the back and so you can't see the whole set). We recommend avoiding them when selecting your seats.
